MISSION STATEMENT: The Chamoru Cultural Development and Research Institute (C.C.D.R.I.) is a non-profit, humanitarian organization which promotes and provides assistance to native Chamoru cultural programs that enrich and empower Guam's people and their life ways through expanded social, political and economic opportunities.

The C.C.D.R.I. is appealing to the island, national and worldwide communities, organizations, and individuals, for monetary and other kinds of contributions such as voluntary services, office furnitures and supplies, household goods, clothing, farming equipment and tools, foods for the food bank, fruits/vegetables and other agricultural produce for bartering, trading or selling. The undertaking of these programs -- a thrift shop, food bank, and an agricultural produce outlet -- are to encourage and assist our people to be more self-sustaining and self-sufficient, through ways that are reflective of our culture, namely:

"ina-ayuda", "ina-famaolek", yan "ina-guaiya".

The Chamoru Cultural Development and Research Institute, a non-profit with tax exempt status, will gratefully appreciate any donations/contributions listed above. For monetary donation, please write check out to Chamoru Cultural Development and Research Institute, and mail to:

The C.C.D.R.I. will send each donor an acknowledegement letter which can serve as a receipt for tax deduction purposes.
