Corpus Christi 2006 10th Annual Celebration

Each year this wonderful mass and celebration gets bigger with more chelus and friends getting involved with building of the various lanchon cotpus representing either a village in Guam or a community here in Southern California.

Some of the villages that have been represented are Inarajan, Merizo, Agat, Asan, Dededo, Santa Rita, Sinajana, Barrigada, Mangilao among others.

One of the California communities has been riverside. This year however riverside is combining the whole inland empire community such as Riverside, Temecula, Murrieta, Hemet, Perris, Sun City, San Bernardino, Wildomar, Menifee, Winchester and other cities/towns within the Inland Empire.

Uncle jim is inviting all you inland empire chelus to come by on saturday to help prepare the lanchon cotpus for the mass on sunday. If you can't physically help I am pretty sure that they can use whatever material or monetary donations they can get to help with this event.

Again this is a very important event for all of us to meet and celebrate mass together and continue practicing our faith and helping our community to come together as one big family.
