Today's lesson is an easy yet important one......
"Hafa na ta ya' guihan gi halom kon ice?"
Translated it simply means......"Why isn't there any fish in the freezer?!"
If you're a Talayero (cast net fisherman) , this must be said in an almost puppy tone voice.....umbre lai....so that the wife will agree with you and quickly put you to the task of getting fish back into the freezer for dinner or some other gathering.......
and just like that.......whola......another free fishing pass!......
sshhh......don't tell, okay!
