Today, we will be escorting the body of a true "Chamoru" leader. Former Sen. Angel Santos' body will be on a carrage, pulled by a carrabo to the Adelup complex, to lie in state over night. This is a sad day for the local people and the world for that matter. This man did not care what other people said about him. He fought for the people, not just his people, but every human being that needed the help that he can give...
I ask for a moment of silence from anyone reading this. A moment to remember a man with insight and drive. I hope that he is doing the same thing where ever he is at now. Guam lost a fighter, a good man, a leader, a father figure, but most of all Guam lost a true "Son". His spirit will remain stong in the hearts of all Chamoru's everywhere and all who considered him a friend. Adios Angel. Keep fighting for us and for what we all believed in and continue to believe in. Your body may rest, but your soul will fight the hard fight. Rest now and we will continue your/our fight in this world. Adios yan Si Yu'us Ma'ase.

Friend - Guahan, Tano i man Chamoru

Hafa Adai

I was just wondering if there are any Guam clubs in the LA area. I noticed that there are a bunch in San Diego and in Northern California.

I live in Torrance right now. My fiance is from Guam, and we're looking for some fiestas in LA. If there's nothing set-up and if there are enough people in the LA area who are interested in something like this, I'd be more than happy to arrange it.

Though California's beaches aren't as nice as Guam's, it's the food that matters most!

If you're interested in something like this, please send me an email at bassiccutz@yahoo.com
